Cells or bugs?
So of what do you think there are more in your body:Individual cells making up your entire body or microscopic bugs in your digestive tract? By how much does the greater of the two exceed the smaller?
-----
Right for the first two (so far)! There's about 1.5 kg of microorganisms inhabiting your body and they number about 100 trillion, whereas there are about 10 trillion cells that make you. So, bugs literally outnumber us internally 10 to 1! Probiotics here we come...

the bugs will outlast us all! My guess is a factor of 1000.
Which reminds me. Did you hear that there is a new digestive tract bug that has infected some people? Apparently this bug is throwing out the old rules that a calorie is a calorie is a calorie buy enabling our digestive tract to digest things that we haven't been able to before (very complex fibres). Wonder when we start chewing our cud?

It must be the microscpoic bugs because that's the shocking answer. But how many more? No idea. I'd say more than 1000 times, just to throw in a wager, why not.
